Giulia Brighi Donato

Giulia Brighi Donato, FNP-C

Giulia grew up in Northern Italy and moved to the United States to attend college. She initially attended college in Phoenix Arizona where she met her husband and later transferred to Northern California to follow his career. Giulia worked as a care manager while finishing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Giulia then started her RN career as an acute care Dialysis nurse. She later transitioned into pediatric oncology at Children’s Hospital in Oakland, California where she discovered that her deepest satisfaction in life came from caring for her patients. Giulia loves children, and caring for her pediatric oncology patients was a real passion.

Giulia and her husband had visited Denver many times in the 9 years they lived in California and fell in love with the place a little more each time. They believed there was no better place to raise their growing family, and they were excited when an opportunity arose to move to the Denver area.

Four years ago, after moving with their 9 and 8 year old boys and 2 year old daughter, they built a house and adopted 2 boxer puppies. During her Family Practitioner education, she enjoyed working with all different age groups focusing primarily in family practice and internal medicine. Giulia started her FNP career in Denver where she initially practiced in a local urgent care as well as in family practice.

She is now happy to pursue her dream by opening Apex Family Practice and Urgent Care. Giulia loves caring for patients of all ages. She loves Parker, Colorado and is truly grateful for the opportunity to care for her neighbors.

Matt Salvaggio

Matt Silvaggio

Matt Silvaggio is a licensed physical therapist of 18 years, graduating from Nazareth College of Rochester, NY with honors.  He specializes in helping people understand why they are in pain, why their body is not moving with ease, and providing solutions for how they can return to what they love doing without pain.  His approach to patient care involves a balance of what people want but also what they need.  This commences with a proper and thorough evaluation including your goals, needs, complaints and past history.

Treatment entails tactful exercise selection to improve the movements and strengths necessary for healing along with building strength.  It will also involve manual therapy including soft tissue and joint manipulation, dry needling, Graston technique, and cupping to name a few.  The final ingredient to success is patient education.  Research shows that patients achieve their best outcomes when they are intricately engaged in their own healing process.

Matt loves fitness and the arts of movement.  A testament to this includes his certification to teach yoga as well as his certification as a strength and conditioning specialist.  He has also completed a graduate level Pilates teacher training.  He is passionate about helping people and is very committed to doing so.  When Matt is not working, he is outdoors with his family enjoying the Colorado lifestyle.

Megan Griffin

Meghan Griffin is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about providing individualized and holistic care to patients of all ages. She was raised in the suburbs of Chicago and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Elmhurst University. During her time at Elmhurst, she participated in Division III softball for four years and tennis for one year. She was awarded the Elmhurst University Female Scholar Athlete of the Year award in 2015. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice with a specialty in family medicine at Rush University College of Nursing.

Prior to pursing her advanced degree, Meghan worked as a registered nurse on an inpatient adult medical/surgical unit for two years. She cared for patients in acute physical rehabilitation at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago while pursuing her doctorate degree.

After visiting her friends who lived in Colorado on several occasions, she decided to make the move to Colorado herself. She worked as a registered nurse at Craig Hospital prior to starting her nurse practitioner career in pain management. While Meghan has enjoyed working in various areas of health care, she realized her greatest passions are preventative care and health education.

In her free time, Meghan loves to spend time outdoors with her partner, Kevin, and their black lab, Jameson. While Illinois will always have a special place in Meghan’s heart, she has made Colorado home. She feels blessed to be able to pursue her dream of providing high quality health care to the residents of Colorado.
